Application forms should be sent together with a detailed curriculum vitae, stating degree, professional experience and language knowledge. Motives for applying to participate in the Master should be explained briefly. Professionals who wish to participate in individual modules must be working with a firm within the sector.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 15 April 2007. When selecting participants, consideration will be given to the merits of the applicant as well as prior knowledge of Spanish. Provisional acceptance will be notified as soon as possible and will be confirmed upon payment of the registration fees.

Applications from those candidates who cannot present their complete records when applying, or those requiring authorisation to attend the course, may be accepted provisionally.

Registration fees

Registration fees amount to 3,000 € plus administration fees for the whole Master programme and 300 € per module for professionals from the sector. Fees cover lectures and practicals, documentation and travel expenses for field trips and technical visits. Board and lodging expenses are not included under any circumstances.

The organisers will take out an accident insurance policy covering any risks related with the course activities. Participants must show proof of health insurance cover. The Direction can provide information if required.

Scholarships

The International Olive Oil Council (IOOC) and the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM) award a limited number of scholarships to participants from member countries of these organisations.

The applications must be addressed to the Director of the Programme, completing the appropriate section of the application form. Scholarships will be awarded according to academic merit and financial situation of the applicant, which must be duly justified with the necessary documents.

Non Spanish candidates may also apply for scholarships to the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECI). Those interested must request information and apply >directly

The Spanish Ministry of Education and Science offers scholarships to participate in official master programmes, for which Spanish students may be eligible.
